The listing, Like New! Nikon N80 Film Camera has ended.
This camera was only used a handful of times for my photography class in college. It works great and is the perfect camera for starters or experienced film camera users. It is very easy to use and takes great quality pictures.
Camera comes with shutter release cord and owner's manual.
Winner will pay 75% of the cost to ship and gets to pick the shipping method. I will provide shipping estimates once the auction is over. Shipping insurance will be required, but I will pay for it.
Awww thank you! Bid, bid, bid. This is an incredible auction and I am shocked no one realizes that! I am also shocked that my $10 iTune's gift card auction has triple the bids as this one! It is a tenth of the cost. Amazing!
Thank you guys for the heads up. I feel so bad saying that, only because I am not a greedy person. I just wanted to ensure I do not loose too much on this auction. Looks like the bids have jumped. Thank you all.
I wouldn't worry too much about the bids so far....mainly because all the serious bidders wait until just before it ends. I think you'll be pleased....and I'm positive it will be free shipping. There's no doubt it will go over 2000. A Nikon is a Nikon, after all.
okay yeah! :) if I win we can discuss all of this over messaging :) I just dont like discussing where I live where everyone can see it haha :) I really hope I win now, I am getting excited.. I am waiting untill the end to bid tho because I want to make sure I have enough credits haha If I dont win I hope this auction goes wonderful for you! If I do win it would truly be a blessing for me. I was so sad I couldnt take that photography class this fall because I couldnt afford the camera :( I really want to explore my interest in photography!
Well good luck then. I will email you about picking up the item when the time comes. I really want this camera to go to someone who deserves it, and you definitely sound like you deserve it. I am sad to be giving it away because it was my first camera, but it is just sitting in the closet collecting dust and money is tight right now (where I can trade it in for something I need.) I made this auction a premium auction, thinking it would do well. Therefore, I already lost 440 bids on the auction. Sadly this auction is not moving like I thought it would. I hope that does not sound bad, I just look at my $10.00 gift card auction that went for over 2000 bids and this one is worth 10 times more and only gone up to 500.
okay thats fine, I priced them online and there not bad.. I actually live in the Houston area too.. so shipping shouldnt be that much if I win :) Does everything work on it?? I think i will just buy a lens off of ebay probably
Excellent! Well, let me know if you would rather pick up the camera to cut shipping cost and to avoid it getting broken or lost via mail. Ebay is a good place for lenses, but please check out B&H photo, often their prices are even cheaper than Ebay! So is the Houston Camera Exchange, they have excellent prices.
so it says film camera.. I am new to all of this haha... does that mean I will have to buy film for it & develop it myself or pay someone too? Can you control the shutter speed on this camera?
Yes, it is film where you purchase the film. For this camera, it is best to buy professional quality film. Also, the shutter is adjustable. This is a manual/automatic camera.
yeah I agree!! I was planning on taking a photography class in college this semester but couldnt afford to buy the camera to use for the class.. I will definatly be watching this one =]
The lenses we have my husband uses. He is a photographer and has a Nikon as well. When I took this class, I used his lenses. I took a film class to learn things that he was interested in and I could also get my Art credit for. I am so sorry. I know you can buy one for a really good price at B&H http://www.bhphotovideo.com/ This place has excellent prices on camera supplies. Also, you can check a local camera exchange.
I can not believe my $10.00 iTunes gift card auction is doing better than this one. This is a real working camera, no strings attached and I am shocked that the bids are so low.
Nice! I plan to take a college photography class and this would be great! Tell me, is it manual or automatic? Also, you mentioned that you might list some Pentax camera if this does well. Is one of them by chance a Pentax K1000? That is my dream camera! :-)
No problem. The good thing about a Nikon is you can use several types of lenses. Nikon and Nikor lenses of course are the two top ones that would work, but we have discovered other lenses fit Nikon cameras as well. The only thing is, you have to make sure the lens fits properly because it can seem like it does and then will mess up your camera if it really doesn't.
