This is yet another rare and unusual bromelaid related to pineapples. Like and often confused with the Teal Metallic Blue/Aqua Sapphire Tower Puya (Puya alpestris) and the Turquoise Blue Puya (also Puya berteroniana but of a slightly different hue), this perennial too hails from southern Chile

I researched this plant and it seems that it gets fairly tall...? From what I could see they can get 30 plus feet....is that correct? I think it is very unique and different plant. I am very interested.

Does this plant slow or fast, also I live in Kansas can this plant survive very cold winters if left planted outside? Really love the different look it has. F&W Hope you will fan back. Good luck!

no you cannot leave it outside it mostly grows in climates such as Chile and Argentina.
