A 1957 All America Selections AWARD-winner, this early and prolific heirloom variety has been exceedingly popular for its very dark green skin and creamy white flesh. Introduced in the 1920's, this bush squash is highly recommended for small garden spaces. You get a large harvest from a very small space. Pick early for baby zukes or grow large for zucchini bread. They are SO good that my son even cooks them with supervision!

Propagation Method: From seed, sow seeds outdoors about a month after the last spring frost. May be started indoors in a peat or newspaper pot.
