Oddly, before 1947, the word "nice" meant: foolish, stupid, lewd, wanton, etc. – and it wasn't until about the 17th definition in unabridged dictionaries that it took on the present day meaning of "pleasant". I still find it a bit confusing and uncomfortable when people say, "Have a nice day", because I am just not sure what they mean. So, Re44iie and Mike have a wonderful and great day. I love this auction, by the way!
