Even though another person listed it as a camelia if you look at different images of camelia and peony, it is a peony.

Im pretty sure its peony. the burgandy looks like the series of magnolia. but its peony vase!

artist is Ute Patel-Missfeldt for Franz pottery. She is known as a painter of silk and very well known artist and has done several pieces for Franz. This being one of them.

Usually the Franz vases start with FZ and then the number. Even so, this does not show up anywhere. Is there the word FRANZ on it? Can't tell by the picture. Also they usually have the artist who made it as a signature.

Is the Peony raised meaning does it stick out as an attachment or painted on. A lot of the Franz vases have attached flowers and I couldn't tell by pic. Are you going to be putting the giraffe on soon?

I knoww!! i was amazed myself when i looked this up when i decided to list it!! hence,the minimum! but its still a major deal at 80k and its mutch more beautiful in person. the lighting they have makes huge diff..in photos!! its fabulous!! ty!
