Thank you, they are soo special,it why i want them to to someone that will ensure they are taken care of. its not always about money, its stressfullll having all these beautiful old things. the responsibility for me is to find them a safe home.they should be respected as wonderful as they are.you should see some of these other things.freaks me out having this stuff in earthquake zone!! lol i want it all someplace where it will be enjoyed and appreciated, properly cared for. omg- it would be such a loss if i broke these !! the fact that my father and sweet german grandmother managed to care for these for so long and so well is amazing to me!! im afraid to dust them.really! i shake moving one! i wont let anyone near this stuff!! i lock the dogs out before i even open the cabinet ... lol i have to find this stuff a safe proper home so its not damaged or broken and lost forever !! i vacume around theire old cabinets softly!! lol
they all gotta go!! lol

History of the makings you discribe are not from 1700's, they cant be. look it up.
In 1814 the Hutschenreuther family founded a porcelain factory in Hohenberg an der Eger in Bavaria, Germany In the early 20th century Hutschereuther expanded by taking over factories at Altrohlau (1909) Carl's sons Lorenz and Christian founded their own factory in the town of Selb, 17 km north of Hohenberg Later know as Lorenz Hutschenreuther, Selb (LHS) This firm took over the Tirschenreuth porcelain factory in 1927 Since 2000 Hutschenreuther is a trademark of Rosenthal.

There are several guides to porcelain markings online. One is www.oldandsold, which has listings by country. Maybe you could identify the maker by going to some of these guides??
