I just have a question. Not about this auction. How can you tell if something is milk glass? My daughter in law has some glasses and she was wanting to know how to tell and I dont know myself. Can any1 help me with this? I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks in advance.

Oh easy one! its white glass not porcelain ! like clear glass is not a clay cup or plate is. it tings like glass. its huge group aswell all white glass is milk glass!

Yes it does. Thank you so much. I believe what she has is milk glass then. Because they are all white glass, glasses. lol. Ill let her know. Ive missed on alot of milk glass at yard sales because I didnt know how to tell. Now I know what Im looking at. Happy Valentines Day

Now your next task is to google the marks on the bottom so youll have some insight as to value and age! this is avon. imperial is great collectable name. look up /google marks n milk glass vintage ect..youll know/learn great from sosoo. good hunting!!
