Is this heavy? Does it compact? Does it come with a case or anything? And can you take a picture of the actual one you hve, being used? I am trying to see how big it is. Also, is the shipping charge a flat rate? That seem a bit excessive?

It'll fit any camera/camcorder that fits onto a standard tripod.

See the 2nd photo? If you can get an attachment for the ipad that would fit in there, then I guess you could attach the ipad to it.
