good luck mama. I totally understand where you are coming from. we went through the same thing when Tris was a baby. we wanted to cd for health reasons (he has infant onset asthma that's linked to disposable diaper use) but couldn't afford the start up. sites like freecycle, diaperswappers and those helpful tutorials were lifesavers for us and our budget ~hugs~

hmm... well it won't let me post it without breaking it up, so just make sure when you copy and paste you take out the space in the last word (diaper) before clicking enter. and just to clarify, none of these are my sites or sites I have a vested interest or even know the people who do have vested interests in. i'm just posting them to help you out. good luck!

have you asked on freecycle.org in your area? also check out diaperswappers.com free for shipping forum, http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=46 and if you have old tshirts (or buy cheap tshirts for cents at yardsales this spring) then you can cloth diaper. check out this site for how http://www.cloth-diapers-made-easy.com/the-no-sew-tshirt-diaper.html and if you have a sewing machine you can look online for free tutorials on how to make diapers and make your own with fabric you already have around the house or cheap fabric from clearance bins. ~hugs~

I love cloth diapering! Do they have any major stains or flaws?

They are very well worn, which would in itself be a flaw- they are not new at all. That's why they are free and were going to be ffs before I found this site :) The outside fabric still looks fine, the inside fabric looks fine on most of them, on a few there is wear around the legs or puling where the velcro tabs join. The elastic is still good in most of them, but is giving in one of the largest.

It is a great idea. I used to use poshpoints... same idea, only I don't think it was an auction set up.... I'm hoping to win this auction! I can use the larges and I'll donate the mediums... unless I save them for when I "get" another babe... oh how I'm hankerin'!!! ::Hugs::

Quick Update :) I found an old small flat rate box in a closet, the items do fit (just exactly lol) into a small flat rate box. since the cost is within cents of parcel post within the continental us (which would be twice the cost for out of continental us parcel post according to the usps quote) No matter what if the winner is in the US period I'll send it in a small flat rate priority box and I'll pay shipping :)

I wanted to update (but can't edit the listing anymore) if you are US but outside Continental US I'll pay for shipping as long as the items fit in a small flat rate box (which I think they will but dh is bringing one home for me tonight to check).

I actually use all in one, one size diapers for my kids. You can see them on my site at this link

http://www.claires-closet.com/products/Diapering_128826/?page1

I am not trying to sell you anything but just wanted to give you more options. I have used these on my kids from birth all the way up to potty training.

thanks! I completely understand. I have been cloth diapering for years now. I started out with the chinese prefolds with the plastic covers and diaper pins lol

that's pretty much the same here :) we started out with the cheapest options (which was gerber covers and plastic pants) and have slowly evolved to having tried many of the other kinds out there. For my toddler I've found I perfer one size fitteds wtih leggies at home. But for the coming baby I think I'm going to buy some good absorbant small prefolds and wraps instead of spending the money on the small fitteds prior to baby being big enough for the OS dipes. Cloth diapering rocks though :)
