This Silver leaf was used by an old Frame maker and artist some 75+ years ago
I've sold alot of this on here already and everyone has been very pleased with the stuff.
This auction is for 3 yellow books that will measure approx. 6 inches by 6 inches and will have about 25 sheets inside.
It's very thin and you can use it for all kinds of craft ideals
If you use the *Get it now* then I will send you 5 full size booklets that measure 6 inches by 6 inches of Pure silver leaf and AND I will send **2** books of pure 24k gold leaf (same deal very old and marked made in Italy and marked made in Germany), otherwise this auction is ONLY for 3 whole booklets of Silver.(a small amount of gold leaf will be given to the winner as a sample)
Rare stuff you can buy gold and silver leaf, even imitation leaf, today, but you can't buy it in antique state. I've seen gold books half my size going for $25 each of modern machine created leaf.
This leaf is old and was made by pounding out the gold thinner and thinner and thinner by manual labor.

if you've already gotten "yellow" silver leaf books from me ,and you know, could you please comment as to how many sheets are inside them, I'm hesitant to flip threw each page to count them, I afraid I'll tear the silver. same goes for the gold I've never gotten an official page count on it either Thanks

I do gilding,but most of the sheets must be perfectly smooth. They look somewhat crinkled. I could use silver and gold. Could you give a better gin price for the entire lot? How much do you have? Lmk if smooth or lil bit crinkly....thx!

the gold is mostly smooth it's common to see a folded sheet here and there in pic 2 on this auction I'm showing a sheet of gold that i blew on, and snapped the picture while it was kinda floating and the gold laid right back out flat, i have more silver then gold so I'm reluctant to give away too much gold I'd like to save some back to hand down threw the family too, i recently sold a nice 2 inch cut of gold book for 10,999, so i can't really do much on the get it now price, but i will send usable gold and silver to the buyer/winner, torn leaf could be used as novelty elsewhere
