I believe it would hit right at your knee depending on your hip size.

Can you measure the waist? I don't usually wear 12 but manufacturers sizes are all different. I generally wear 10.

I think so. If you have a large rear or tummy it may not fit. My sis, before she gained a little weight wore size 10/12 at 130-135 pounds
