everything on the label is posted above. It is very soft so I expect best use is something for a baby. it has 3 strands wrapped together to make the design.
blue skiens weigh 1.5 ozs each and red skien just a hair under 1.5
that's all I know for sure

Not Really, The weight of the yarn is how thick or thin the yarn itself is not how much it weighs. How would it compare to say "Redheart Super Saver"? Thicker or thinner or about the same?

I don't get to use the expensive stuff very often so I have little knowledge of it. I do have some Redheart Super Saver. the blue is slightly wider because it has 3 strands of different kinds to make the design but when you put tension on it and the Redheart they are the same. the red is just slightly thinner than the Redheart and is 2 stranded. does that help?

That does help. That means that the blue is a worsted weight and the red is probably a DK weight. Thank you very much!!

sooo I need some info:
worsted weight is used for what projects?
what does DK mean and what projects are made from it?

Worsted weight is pretty much the standard sized yarn. a DK is a little lighter for more intricate items. The weights are as fallows...

1=fingering weight; This is used for like lace shawls and such
2=sock weight; this is used for sock of course, but also fair isle knitting
3=sport or also known as DK weight; this is used for standard work with more detail
4=Worsted weight: this is used for standard work
5=chunky; this is used for easy quick projects
6=super chunky; This is used for very quick and easy project like scarves or cowls

I hope that this will help you in the future. I do tons of crochet and knitting and it is frustrating to see a yarn and not know the weight, think that you are getting a Worsted weight and wind up with a sock weight or a chunky. It is hard to tell in pictures what weight it is.
