Spectacular upright spikes of Cup-and-Saucer shaped pastel blooms. Ideal when used in small clusters or as a backdrop for shorter flowers. They make great cut flowers in colors of purple, blue pink, rose and white.

Special Directions for Short season climates

SOWING: Sow seed directly outdoors from late spring to early fall. Cover seed with 1/8. inch fine soil. Seed started indoors or in the greenhouse in late winter or earliest spring may bloom somewhat the first year.

THINNING AND TRANSPLANTING: Carefully thin or transplant young seedlings 12 to 16 inches apart when plants are about 2 inches high.

GERMINATION: Two to three weeks depending upon soil and weather conditions. Keep soil moderately moist during germination.

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to apply water fairly sparingly. Keep in mind when planting that Canterbury Bells is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to survive through freezing conditions
