The only lavender that blooms reliably the first year from seed. Very fragrant lilac-blue flower spikes. Perennial.

I cut mine back in late fall/winter because where I live they die back. If you live in a milder zone,you may not need to prune at all. It is a small shrub. Zones are 5-10. You can even crystallize the flowers and use them as edible decorations!
