It is a glamorous necklace, but not too glitzy! It begins with a drop consisting of 4mm sterling silver beads, two sterling silver bead caps, a 15mm ornate Bali round sterling silver bead and a Swarovski faceted 8mm jet black rondelle, set between two 8x4mm Hematite cylinder beads. The sequence for the rest of the necklace consists of many Hematite beads separated either by a sterling silver spacer bead or round bead. On both sides, there are two interruptions to this sequence ~ two ornate sterling silver cone beads with a Swarovski 8mm faceted round jet black crystal AB (Aurora Borealis). The necklace is finished with a sterling silver leaf patterned toggle clasp. The matching earrings contain the same elements as the necklace and drop from sterling silver beaded coiled wire ear wires.
The length of the necklace, including clasp, is 19". The earrings drop 1 3/8" from the ear wires.

Hematite has a shine to it and then with the sterling silver and crystals there is some glitter as well, but not so much that it becomes the focal point when worn as an accessory to enhance possibly a black or gray suit or a simple basic black, grey, or multicolored (with black in the design) dress.
