Hi I would need your zipcode so I could check with the USPS calculator. I do know the box I have that it will fit in is light enough that it will be able to go 1st class pkg rather then priority which is a savings. I do not send by envelope as the plastic on the figurine could be easily crushed if something in the post bin was thrown on top of it.

I'm glad to see that several are watching it. I have some more that if this does well I might put up for auction as well. There are plenty of later action figures but these are right after The Next Generation series started. I like to know people who enjoy the same thing as I do feel the same way about the items. Happy looking!

It's nice you're giving other people a chance to own a rare toy that is very thoughtful of you

It would be welcome in my collection I can insure that as a fan of Star Trek if you have a Picard figure I be happy to win that because he's my favorite on Star Trek The Next Generation

I thought of putting them on ebay in our small store which is empty right now, and which my hubby thought I should do but I decided to try Listia and see if there was any interest. I do have a Picard but I will have to see how the bidding goes on here before deciding in the future to list more action figures. I'm downsizing my collection as have had to move into a smaller place do to job loss and economy and to old to pack and unpack all these things lol! thanks for looking!

I understand what you mean because I use listia to help me with business as well and it always helps me with Holidays and birthdays since I have been out of work for three years if you post Picard ill gladly bid on him since he is my favorite character in Star Trek

Yes, I know what you mean. I to was axed in the last big health care downsizing here in our city. been out of work now for about 2 years. did get severance package and unemployment but that's now gone. I may consider auctioning Picard depending as I mentioned before how the bidding goes on this auction. I want to make something available but don't want to lose because there isn't enough interest either. so we see'll how it goes.

I understand how you feel I can assure you Star Trek items do very well here on listia I won a few Star Trek items here and I got into bidding wars over them that's how serious it is

And with a rare figure like this I'm sure it goes well and I'm sure it will go up in value since hasbro my favorite toy company owns the rights to Star Trek toys after playmates had it for years Almost all my Star Trek toys were done by playmates so now I can see how hasbro will do

Interesting, I didn't know they had gotten the rights to Star Trek. Well with the new Star Trek movies they should do pretty well. I'm glad to hear Star Trek does so well on here. It makes it easier to part with them as well. When you find people who appreciate them that helps. Is it though only the Star Trek action figures that do well or other Trek Items? I did have Star Trek address book that was won on here but besides this and two Star Trek books I have up for auction at the same time as this figure that's the only experience I have on Listia regarding Star Trek and the books haven't had any interest shown at all. So that's why I ask.

I'm not sure but the movie is around the corner so I'm thinking that's hasbro first stop with the toys and who knows we may get a transformers Star Trek cross over since hasbro made two lines with the transformers

The main Star Trek items I won were Star Trek Borg audio tape for 17 credits I had to pay three dollars shipping Star Trek the next generation VHS episode yesterday's enterprise classic episode 40 credits and a Deanna troi card for 30 I lost a good bit of Star Trek items in my career but never the less Star Trek is a legend

Seems like you got a good deal. though it seems the credits for these items were low bids. It gives me an idea on what lesser items bring though and I appreciate that. I loved the Star Trek Yesterday's Episode myself. I also loved the episode The Inner Light I think it was called. I love all the Star Trek genres but Voyager is my favorite. It was the first time to show a strong female captain and Kate Mulgrew did a good job. I think all the captains were equally good captains for thier time and situation. Regardless of what some older male individuals think it shows either gender is capable of doing a good job commanding. It speaks volumes in the since it ran 7 years up there with TNG and DS9 as the orginial Trek and the series Enterprise only ran less by several years respectively. People who can do a good job no matter, gender, race, culture etc is the real key and that's what all Trek episodes represent.

Star Trek really shows that anything is possible if you know what you're doing and most of today's tech is somehow inspired by Star Trek cellphones tablets laptops need I say more

So very true. at one of the conventions I was at in Ca. years back they got into a discussion about that. One of things that grounded Star Trek when it began is because the items they used were ideas that were already in the drawing stages and would be a reality within 30 years and actually being used by the public. They consulted the engineers, designers, inventors, physcists, etc as to things that people could mentally grasp that they could see themselves using in a few years of time (except the beaming lol!) but communicators, hypo sprays, computers that talk also video communication people could grasp the ideas and they used concepts people were already working on so it was so much more believable and real to people and today we benefit from what started all those years ago. Even automatic doors at grocery stores lol! Now all of us and the younger generations enjoy these luxeries and the younger now take it as a fact of life lol! boy they don't know what it means when you say party lines, land lines, main frames, reel to reel tape recorders etc. lol! lol!
