And yes it's really cool, don't remember how much it was when I bought it, at least $40, cause we bought it when they first came out....it must have been like 3-4 years ago, he used it for two days.....and that was it. But it is really a cool little thing. when it comes to something solid it backs up and turns around I think or maybe it just backs up. I did check to make sure it still worked. And he does, hes been in a box that ill send him in, for these years. so hes like brand new. Your son can also interact with him as his sensors are so sensitive alls you have to do is touch his antennae or the wire on his back and he'll change position. Theres one thing to watch out for though, it sits really low to the ground and if you have a pet or lint if it goes under the couch it'll stop working cause the hairs/lint get stuck in his little wheels. Tweezers work well to get stuff out should that happen. Have a maincoon cat with lots of fur like a rabbit. So those got stuck in his wheels and he'd stop but turn him off and pull whatevers stuck out. I have the little insructions that came with him too that tells you how to change batteries and which ones to get..my son is turning 14 in a month so hs's far too mature for it now....lol. You wont need to change batteries any time soon though if he played with it an hour all together i'd be surprised. so, i'll let you get back to your life, just make sure he's on a flatish surface, not carpet or anything. I have tile and he went fine on that. Thanks for your interest.
