2 ct. is a rather large stone for a size 6.5 ring , what is the under plating , do you by any chance know? If silver , this is a wonderful ring , other wise ... I could not wear it , So Sad .. Beautiful .. Ring !

It really isnt that bid it just depends on what you like. I do not know what the base metal is but in most cases it is copper or nickel but not sure
