Not a Dual Band but if you need it for a small home should work great. Make sure it's located near the middle of the home as possible for better performance. Don't put it in the basement as that will degrade the strength for the 2nd floor if you have a 2nd floor. Good for use with Satellite, Cable or DSL Internet Services if you only have a Modem. You can connect many devices to this via Wireless (Laptop, Desktop, Cell phones that use WiFi/Wireless, Tablets, etc.). Even if you don't have wireless you can use this to setup a Wireless home network to play games in your home.
