Hello my great friend in China. How are & the family doing in this new year??? I am very sorry for not stopping by more often just to say hello & see how all of you are doing. I, like most people, let life get too busy for us, and most of it isn't even very important. We have had a very bad flu going around here, all over the country, and my wife caught a bad chunk of it, 1st. time in 15 yrs. she has called in sick. I took good care of her for the week she was down but then it jumped on me the next week. I had a mild case & seemed to be getting over it & them bam, it hit me again three days later.
Mike, what do you think the value of my fan is, that I won from you??? I would love to keep it but I got us into a small jam & I am thinking that selling it might get me through my jam without many scars :):):).
Well, great man & friend, I hope this note finds you & yours very healthy & everything is going your way. I will keep you & yours in my prayers also. By the way, how many lucky kids are there with you & your wife? I say they & your wife are all lucky because "you" are their dad & husband. I am also lucky because you are my friend. Good to hear from you my friend! Everything is wonderful here in China! The Chinese New Year just came to an end! Been on holiday for the last 2 weeks..so taking it easy! As for the value of the fan..You should be able to get 30 to 40 bucks for it! It cost me 30 bucks to send it to you! The Chinese painting is more valuable! If you had it framed..it's worth at least 100 to 200 bucks..depending on how much you payed to have it framed!
Sorry to hear about the flu going around there! Take care of yourself and your family!
Me, my wife and my daughter have been lucky and haven't caught the
flu in the last few year...knock on wood!!
