Ok I don't know what you mean by verified I answered all the questions they asked me but if you mean my phone number bank account twitter account PayPal account and Facebook account I'm not putting my number or bank account on the Internet I tried signing into Facebook for this and it wouldn't let me and I don't have a twitter account and Paypal is my husbands and again I will not post that on the Internet sorry but thank you anyways

Hi. I completely understand your concerns. My husband has a master's degree in IT security; if it wasn't safe, I wouldn't be allowed on here. : ) NO personal info is shown to the public. PPL only see your address when you click to send it to them, and then it is only the seller and Listia who sees it. Verifying your phone number simply tells users that you HAVE a working number. Listia will call you one time. Verifying your bank card simply tells users you have one. Having a working bank card and phone number tells people that you are an actual person and that you are not giving out false info. It just makes you more trustworthy. A lot of people will not bid if there aren't badges to show that phone number/bank account were verified by Listia. I have been here two years and they have never released my info or used my info except for the initial time to verify. These things are not required, but encouraged to build bidder confidence. Just to let you know I like jen5359 am married to an IT guy and he wouldn't let me on here if it wasn't safe in fact he set the account up to be sure.
