it is not plastic , it is some kind of metal, on my other bag I have up right now don't over look the one that is tarnished in the pic looks really old the pic on it is an eagle standing on some kind of crest with what looks to be a wasp in it , i'm not sure but very interesting, happy bidding

oh and take a good look at the button in the fourth picture , will try and get a better one up soon but the outside is wood grain and center is a metal with a flower possibly a clover ? not sure but unique !!!!
