the sim card in the phone is for my zip code area. you need to get your own sim card and the company normally gives you free sim cards for there phones. i have straight talk and if i get a new phone they send me a sim card free for my area. not all sim cards use the towers by you some use at&t some are sprint it depends on who the main tower is in your area. but yes a sim card is in it but it will not work unless you are in a 29588 zip code
