Description

The listing, Bear recurve bow has ended.

I have a Bear/ Black/Bear , fiberglass, recurve bow. Not too sure how old it is.Maybe 15- 20 + yrs? It is in decent condition. It's a little scuffed but no cracks or splintering.the shipping cost is going to be around $28.00. this item has been relisted. someone did win . then they didn't want to pay the shipping. the bow is almost 5 ft. long and doesnt come apart. that is why shipping is so much. please do not bid if you don't want to pay shipping. i do not take paypal . they make you wait too long to use the money. money orders only... so me being the nice guy i am . i am gonna open the already packaged bow up. and take some more pics. as i stated in the last auction, I AM NOT A BOW HUNTER!!! i was given the bow. i hope that i am pleasing everyone by jumping through all these hoops

so just a heads up for those bidding on the bow. i got some new info onhow to ship from a very helpful person on Listia. so with that being said the shipping should be a lot less than i posted earlier on the description of the bow. i cannot promise that but i will do my best. it all hinges on how small i can make the package.

My posts were not to come across as being negative, rather trying to obtain more info on your auction, & if I were to WIN, I wanted to try to keep costs down in shipping.... My apologies sincerely!!! I hope all ends as well as you had hoped!!! Pleased dont allow myself to spoil your enjoyment on Listia. Good Luck!

Thanks for the photos!! Yeh, if you were to look at the shipping prices on e-bay for recurves you would see that they are mainly less than $20.

because if you read the paragraph i wrote with the description you would know. but.... i will tell you again. the person won , the auction ended and they did not want to pay the shipping after the agreed to. by rights i could have kept their credits and the bow. but being the nice guy i am . i refunded their credits and left a positive feed back for them.

Do you know if it is a right hand bow or left hand? About how much does it was packaged. Just trying to get an idea on how much shipping might be. Thanks.

not sure about left or right. there are plenty of pics. there are some of me holding the bow.the arrow rest is on the left side. hope that helps. i am not a bow hunter. and i have never used this bow. about the shipping the way i packaged it up for the previous winner it was like $28.00. but i think i can make a smaller package so it should be around $20.00

From what I've been able to see on USPS.com if you can make the package 62"x5"x5" you can ship it Priority Mail for $13.25. Hope that helps. I'm not sure if you will be able to get the hight an width under 5 inches it keeps the price down.

If you go by a sporting goods store you might be able to score a used shipping box so you can get a better rate on shipping. Just a thought. Great bow.

That sucks. I hate when buyers bid, win, but then won't pay the shipping even when the auction said "winner pays exact shipping". I hope you have better luck this time around. I hope you left hte appropriate feedback rating.

I buy & sell traditional longbows & recurves all the time on ebay & expidited shipping isnt any more than $15.00. Why dont you list the AMO, #'s & serial number for those interested. Doe it come with a string? And, it help people if they can look at better pics; rest, riser, both tips wtc.

maybe you can tell me your secret on packaging a 5 ft. bow that doesn't come apart and who you use for mshipping. i packaged it up as small as i could.and i brought it to the post office they measured it and gave me a price . and i do beleive that i put the numbers on the last post. sounds like you are giving me crap. i am not here to rip any one off. and with all the bad experiences i have been having since i have jhoined this site. i am thinking of saying to hell with it all. we all cannot be perfect!!!!!!!!
