Description

The listing, Sterling Silver and Red / Purple Gemstone size 9 Ring has ended.

This ring is marked 925 and has a second marking that looks kinda like a bullseye LoL

The stone looks deep red when worn, but when you shine light on it, it looks purple.

It is definitely a real stone, but I am not sure which it is. I looked up similar reddish purple gemstones and it could be any of these:
Amethyst, Corundum, Garnet, Rudy, Sapphire, Spinel, Tanzanite, orTourmaline

Feel free to ask any questions or request more photos if you need them!~

I do not lower starting bid or auction days.
I ship to Listia Verified addresses ONLY.

This item ships FREE in the USA with tracking!!~

Good Luck if you choose to bid!~ Thanks for looking :)

I changed it to 17,777 so that I will clear 16,000 after Listia fees are deducted, but that's the lowest I am willing to go with so many messages and watchers.
I hope this helps!! :)
Thanks so much for looking at my auction!

No,problem. The cool thing about natural alexandrite is that the stones take anywhere from 2000 million to 3000 million years to form deep within the earths crust. They have many color variations. :) Im kinda a nerd, lol.

Your ring should be able to turn another color in a different light source too,but I dont remember what kind of lighting its suppose to be,although there are alexandrite stones that only turn two colors, but the kind you have looks like one that could turn green as well :D

It has something to do with the unique way the crystals are formed. In the 17th century Alexandrite was sought out by alchemist, people also call it the magic stone :) Okay,Im done :D lol

So, after reading your comments I just HAD to try the candle light thing lol and sure enough, a totally different color!!! it turns blood red near candle light, I loved the effect and I almost regret selling it now LoL but I have too much jewelry as it is! Thank you so much for this information, I never would have thought to check that :)
