Back in the 1970s Avon made chess pieces smell good by putting after shave in them. This is the Rook II with Wild Country After Shave. It's never been opened as far as I know (it sounds full), so maybe the liquid still smells good. If not, empty the bottle and start collecting the bottles for an over-sized chess set. The box is in great shape with only minor wear. The bottle has a dark amber plastic top and silver coated glass bottom. I couldn't see any marks or scratches. Very nice collectible or gift.
