Kinda rare that you even see something close to military from Lego. Usually you have to go to the offbrand legos like Mega bloks and Best lock. Also interesting cause it is a toy.... of a toy. A lego version of the army men we grew up with. That along with being Disney/Pixar should bump up its value now and in the future.

Yes, Lego is very anti-military and it was purposely created that way by the original inventor of Lego's. This set though is from the Toy Story movie and not considered "military" and I'm sure Lego has a contract with Disney to produce all the main characters from the movie. It's a very cool set for sure! And yes, the value has increased since it was originally released and I'm sure it will continue to grow in value. Hope to see you bid!! Good luck :-)
