The glasses are called "Beams choice collectors editions Masterpieces of art" Through the years since 1953,Martin Lewin, Executive director of the James B. Beam Distilling Co., has performed like a genius. Eighteen years prior to 1971 introduced his novel, fresh style of packaging quality whiskey in fancy, figural decanters. This was first marketed in 1966. Being a lover of art,the idea crossed Mr. Lewins mind to introduce a whiskey package that could portray the paintings of the fine old masters. Mr. Curtis Simmons, the owner of Enamel Steel & Sign Co. in Chicago Illinois. Mr Lewin and Mr. Simmons,was successful in developing the technique to produce this unusual package in 1966 that would have a reproduction of a painting by one of the great masters.
