if it has a bad esn then it cant be activated on the service he had cause he didnt pay the bill. so if he had sprint, you cant take it there til his bill is paid. and they will make u pay it if you really want that phone turned on. however, you can have it flashed to, say cricket. that is, assuming the phone even works considering he dont have a charger to even show it powered on. Almost every android phone out now uses the same mini charger...evo, ANY HTC's hell, even the iphone 5 has the same one. That's a bit high to ask or even start out the bid man. be real here, its an evo, great, awesome phone, i have two myself and love them both. its a paper weight, just not a gold paper weight. just sayin. hell if you can prove it works works and functions correctly with no screen issues, you would get a lot more bid action.

and how did you find this phone 3 years ago when it came out like a year or 2 ago?

This is not my phone and I found it at my cousins job and I called the person about they just left their phone and I called their house and nobody answered it and it was 3 years ago when I found it

to Daddyof1: yeah but isn't flashing your phone illegal and could brick the phone, plus you need like very good knowledge about android-sdk and RSD Lite as well as to download the right drivers for RSD to recognize that your phone is connected to be able to flash the phone. i would NOT advise doing this because this method bricked my Samsung Google Galaxy Nexus 4G and then my phone was unable to be fix at all, and i had to literally get a new phone. all i have to say is if you get the phone and you don't know what you doing then use it as an mp4 player or something, if you do then great try what you can if it works great if not well... sell it for part, or maybe just bring it to a professional

dont mean to seem like im hatin on your auction, but someones gonna win this thing for a lot of credits, get it and be real pi$$ed off when they cant turn it on or have to go through a diff service to do so.

and for those that should understand, the ESN is the number in which your cell carrier, ie; verison, sprint, cricket all use to activate your phone on there network AND its physical location is on the backs of your phones, typically under the battery.
