The listing, hand painted super fun sock yarn! 1 full skein +extra! wool/nylon has ended.

the flash photos may increase how shiny this yarn looks, but unfortunately I live in a poorly lit home and it's been grey out, so I'm doing the best I can :)

this listing is for some stroll fingering weight sock yarn in color 'playtime' this yarn is superwash - you can machine wash what you make with it without causing it to felt! 75% merino wool, 25% nylon. this knitpicks yarn is one of their better ones - a full 462 yards is contained in the 100g skein shown, with an additional possibly 50y contained in the companion ball. both are from the same dye lot - #17280, and both have lived safely tucked in a ziploc since they were obtained. I made a shawl with this yarn once, so the little ball is what I didn't use.

not greed, necessity... the post office has the best prices and the most complete coverage for delivery compared with the alternatives =)

then again, I'm a public employee and my paycheck keeps shrinking every time they try to cut costs so maybe I'm biased

Well my friends, I ordered myself Six Balls of a beautiful cotton yarn that was discounted cuz the color was discontinued. It felt so good to do that lol. I mostly knit with Pima Cotton yarns here in Florida. Have you guys ever heard if a yarn called Touché ? OMG, I have knitted myself lace shawls in every color they make. The absolute softest cotton ever and strange thing but it is not an expensive yarn. I have paid $100 a skein for yarn by PRISM LOL and I had more fun with this touché cotton lol

for a long time I wasn't a fan of their yarn, but once I started knitting socks I discovered that their sock yarn is quite premium! the Felicia self striping sock yarn works really well, I made rainbow knee highs for myself =)

It does look like cotton candy! I found a girl on Etsy that dyes her own yarn and OMG, it's just gorgeous! She doesn't spin her own yarn but it's not that big of a deal. Her hand dyed looks like pictures that the Hubble telescope send back from space! :)

I always find myself drooling over their silk hankies but I'm intimidated by the thought of spinning with them.

The blue Alpaca yarn that you had listed went just way too high! I couldn't believe it when I saw that! Even crappy red heart super saver is going way too high! Maybe I should list some of my red heart, I have 2 skeins of green and red that might bring a lot of points!

it surprises me that there is a demand for red heart at all. personally I find it rough on my hands, and the finished product has tended to be less than satisfactory when I worked with red heart. give me something with some drape, and natural fibers!

Darlin, I could have told u yarn goes big on Listia. My pain a d surgery had me miss a few lol. This will be coming to Miami I hope lol. I agree a out quality and I cannot use red heart either cuz my hands are very sensitive. Darlin when I was listing yarns I got 10,000 per ball and I put up tons of yarn. I may put some extras up again cuz people have been asking me. Princess. I have your address and will send something when I am better.
