on back face inside supreme I-W-C-C-O 9226749 inside 17 jewels Ill.springfide watch co. 2953391 chain 4 in.. gold tone or brass not sure. works just needs the long and short hands
put back in place . loose in the facetfount.

that is side to side. just the back is 1" 1/2 across

How can U tell if it works if the hands aren't on?

becase u wind it up and it runs till u have to wind it agin every 24 hour just becaus the hands need to be replaced does not mean it doesn't work. besides i had it looked at by a Jeweler.
