This HIPPIE ROCK is from People's Park here in Berkeley, Ca. and is made from ABALONE shell. The Ohlone Tribal peoples (East Bay, Ca.) wore abalone shell as jewelry and ornaments. This would look great wrapped and worn as a pendant too, and was "cleansed" with White Sage by a Native American elder from the Blackfeet Tribe (Montana), my friend Running Wolf. AHO!
