Up for auction today is a gorgeous light gray, sleeveless blouse by Rain in 100% polyester. The blouse is a halter-style & features a zip closure up one side, a ruffle feature at the bust & a keyhole detail/button closure on its back near the neck. It's sheer, but it features a built-in tank in a matching hue. It's a women's size L, but it fits more like a S or M & it has no stretch. It has only been worn once & it's in brand new condition. Lying flat, the blouse measures approx 11" from armpit to armpit; the natural waist is about 13.5" across & the blouse is about 21" from top to bottom. Worn alone with dark skinny jeans, this is a gorgeous piece for a dinner date, but paired with a white blazer & nude or black heels, it instantly becomes dressier for a special event! It's a beautiful blouse to add to your collection. Dryclean only.

it is still a beautiful blouse...I wear a M in clothes but have to watch the bust part ..am a 36C ...think it would fit??

Thanks for looking at my auction, I appreciate it! I think it would fit up to a full C, yes :) In fact, I think it will look best on a full B-C. I'm a D & I'm too busty for it. I have the blouse's measurements listed in the description, however. Hope this helps!

Hi, This is beautiful! 2 Questions! The Ruffle, on the front..does it stay in place, as in the picture it looks almost like a flower? Or does it "spread" out a bit when on? As well, unless I am not understanding, in your description it states, measures underarm to underarm: 11" across? I am a small, can wear some mediums, but 11" seems tiny, underarm to underarm across?? Thanks Very Much! Watching:)

Hi there,

Thanks for checking out my auction! The blouse is designed sort of like a triangle (it's smaller at the top & gradually gets larger, sort of like a trapeze top). 11" does seem small, but those are only approximate measurements. So yes, the blouse is very snug around the armpits, but it also gently flows out towards the bottom. However like the description states, there's a sewn in camisole in a matching color & it has little to no stretch. I tried this on with a 38D bust & it fit me, but I'm also quite petite. Finally, the ruffle stays in place & it doesn't fan out (that I noticed). The halter neck also beautifully lifts the blouse & holds everything in place. This blouse isn't forgiving & it's meant to be snug. I hope this description helps! Thanks for looking & good luck if you bid :)

And like I said in the comments above, I fit the blouse wearing a D-Cup, but it was not becoming due to the blouse's smaller measurements (way too snug). Again, hope this helps.

I really appreciate the info! I am 5'6" and I guess small. As well I am a 36A or smaller B cup. Do you think I would "fill out" the bust area? Or would it be too large, there? When you had it on, did the front "ruffle" as it appears to for lack of a better word at the moment! Stick out? I know that sounds wrong just cannot think of a word! Could it "overpower" someone like myself with a smaller bust? Thanks, I just want to get a good idea of how it may fit me, before bidding. It is just a lovely piece.

No problem, I appreciate questions so people aren't disappointed with the merchandise. I can't tell a person what to wear/what looks best on them (since we all know our own physiques better than anyone), but to answer your questions, I think this top would look just fine on a smaller bust. I think a small A to a full C would fit this blouse & not look "too small" or "too big" (for lack of better terms). Also, the ruffle feature is supposed to be a focus piece so you don't need a lot of jewelry with this top, so I wouldn't worry about it overpowering you (I bought this blouse & I'm only 4'11"). The center is supposed to stand out. I hope this helps :)
