the nicest thing someone has done for me is hard bcuz i have met such amazing people on here id have to say the most thoughtful n giving thing someone has done the winner of my auction was emailing after the end and when.i emailed her bck i tend to ramble on n on n i guess we had tht in common so we had several emails back n forth sharing life events and current things happening with our kids and her grandkids and without going into detail to much i have told her some personal things and some things tht were effecting me and my kids and she took it upon herself to send me money through paypal to help me out with a bill tht was past due she didnt have to do tht n to me 150 dollars is alot of money so i paid the bill n my lites stayed on shes an angel frm heaven all she asked me to do was pay it forward when i could or saw somone in need so i cleaned my closets n my sons toys n my clothes and went to a battered womens shelter and donated all my stuff to them and i received an unexpected check in the mail for four hundred dollars and while on this site i met a lady with a heart breaking story n if u saw her n person ud think all was good n fine but she was hurting and struggling the same as i was when the lady helped me so after winning her auction i paypald her sixty dollars so she could buy her son something nice for his bday i paid it forward and hope i can cont to do this. it nice to meet wonderful people on here im a single mom looking for wrk n its nice to tlk to people with similar situations i was blessed to fall into both of those ladies lifes i was abd am blessed n happy to have been able give and receive those gifts it was so thoughtful and.caring n i can never repay her for her kindness and thnk god i was able to meet her and b able to pay it forward

def its always a blessing to receive but to b able to give is something i cant put in words whn it changes lives (the shelter) i couldnt help but think how much they need but mz brenda is the lady who helped me and everyone should kno how amazing she is bcuz she is my long lost mother n im forever grateful for her bein n my life

Thats great,At one point in my life I was in a shelter for abused women and children.Til this day I still volunteer and donate what I can.

I decided to do this because I always hear how someone was scammed,ripped off or disappointed.I know their are alot of great people on here and have had the pleasure of working with them.I think if more people see how nice others are than maybe they will do the same.

Already a fan!! When I first got on Listia I met a lady who won an auction and found out she's only 87 miles from me! Her in ALA and me in Miss. My oldest son (42) went to prison and being a widow I was SOO alone! She called me every single night and she prayed with me for "6" months!!! Then a blast from my past came back in my life and 1 year later we were married in my Church and God has truley Blessed us!!! I have never forgotten my Ala. fan and how she really touched my life! Sometimes when I get down I remember her sweet southern voice and thank God for her kind prayers!!! My son is due to get out next month and has brougt God into his heart and will start a new life!!!!

it made me feel like i made a differance n it was an amazing feeling i dont have much im struggling daily thts y this site has been a savior with gettn the things i need for my daughter.n son n im jus so grateful listia came about and wish more people used it for good instead of tryin to get over on people bcuz they r ruining an amazing site tht i myself am depending on at this.time.n my life n i jus hope it doesnt go anywhere anytime soon n im sorry to hear tht u were n a shelter yourself i hope things have turned around for you and you are out of tht situation tht put.n there u deserve the best n anyone who thinks differantly needs to kick rox lol thts y im alone now cuz i can do bad all bymyself dont need a man on top of my.two kids to take care of too had to kick him to the curb n go bck to school n make somethin of myself n my life is makin small changes for the good now n im excited for the future
