it grows that way the one in the pic is about 5 years old they get as big as 5 feet tall but that takes years i would recomend doing an internet search on how to grow and care for them its not hard at all but you will need to find out info they are a very vauble plant if taken care of. i have about 300 growing right now and full sized adeniums have been known to sell for tens of thousands of dollars. there are videos on youtube and websites dedicated to growing and the care of adeniums.
also while dragon fruit is not self pollinating they do pollinate each other and if you are growing them you will most likely ( unless you dont know what you are doing ) will put more than one in each pot so they WILL get pollinated. so he realy didnt know what he was talking about.
It would be nice to win this I like it a lot but more important MY amazing wife loves it and wants them for the house we just rented she stuffed it out threw two years in a small 5th wheel till we could scratch and save enough cash to get our first place for us and our daughter. She asks for so little and she's really got her hopes up on this beautiful plant really hope we get it IT would make her year.
Thank you. So, do you have a pic of what the plant that these seed grow look like? Which is the graft, the blossom part, or the tree base (as far as these seed are concerned)?
