Has hi and low setting
I only used it maybe 3 times...my after shot isn't so great because that was my practice run but you get the idea. My hair is very thick and the iron still does its job.

I know this is not my auction or anything, but I want to say for those who love to curl your hair, this is a LIFE SAVER! It gives such a beautiful look and it is very easy and fast to use. If you like to also "to volume" your hair this is great! I have one of these and it works so well. A tip to make really beautiful hair is to use this with a pattern with a hair straightener, use the barell then curl the the straightener.

It's for all hair types. I would start out with low heat and see how your hair takes to it.
