The listing, Beautiful Handmade Ceramic Bead Bracelet with Matching Earrings has ended.

This is another one of a kind bracelet from Jewels Jems. That is the original name of my "store" but when I was thinking of selling on 'etsy', that name was already taken.

Well, I'm not selling on etsy, so it's MINE!! LOL

I had a heck of a time getting any pics to upload tonight-I have about 4 more bracelets, and another little jewelry box, and a great elf auction to post. I'm going to have to wait, now.

OK, now for some business: I follow all Listia rules and guidelines and expect you to also.

My auctions are FUN places where friends come to talk, laugh and meet new friends! If this is not for you? then just keep on movin'.

I lowered the starting bid and the GIN. I want to encourage people to start bidding!! I do not like large start up bids, even though I never go real high, it gives the auction time to build!

This is incredibly beautiful. I definitely think you've found your voice. Keep up the great work. Demand what it's worth. You will sell sometimes they relist 1-2 times before the right buyer comes along but then you know it's going to someone who truly appreciates it. LADIES - THIS WOMAN HAS TALENT. HER WORK IS STUNNING. YOU'D ALL BE VERY LUCKY TO OWN ONE OF HER PIECES.

OMG Janet, you have no idea what you just said!! I am a professional vocalist who literally lost her voice! I have not been able to sing for over a year now. I have been to the University of Michigan and was supposed to see a Speech Pathologist there. It just never worked out. I believe I will never sing again, and I had a beautiful, God-given talent.

What you said in your comment almost made me cry! "When one door closes..."
So maybe He took all of the Beauty He gave me in that voice, and put it into my Jewelry making! It amazes me sometime what I create. Just like it amazed me sometimes what would come out of my throat and mouth!!

This is so beautiful! I'm sorry about your voice. :( My family travels and sings, and I can't imagine how awful it would be if that got taken away from us. Just remember that God knew what He was doing, and will restore your voice if it is His will.

I mentioned to another commenter that a very talented and actually the one and only Layncologist in the State at U of M told me after examining my vocal chords, which are simply swollen due to stress he said, that he sees wonderful things ahead for me! I have not claimed this yet, as i am choosing to be Negative. he referred me to a Speech pathologist at the University, but it was just too far away to go two or three times a week.
My ENT then referred me to a local rehab to another very good Speech Therapist, and I have not gone yet as I have gone through an entire battery of tests to see what my symptoms may mean. Whatever it is, it does not show up on standardized testing!

Now I have more free time, so I am going to get another prescription and do two different rehabs at once!! I should be able to get my voice back, like you said, if it's God's will!

Oh my, that would be so much fun to travel around as a family and sing! I remember when our entire family would be on our way home from Church when I was just a kid, and we'd all sing together. I knew how to harmonize at 4-5 years of age. My Mom told me I could sing before I even talked! So it is something I wsa born with!

Thank you Teresa. It is a bit touching all in all. I hurt so badly when I lost my ability to sing. Now I have a new love, and I love it so much! In fact, I just received a shipment in the mail of new beads and spacers, so I'm going to go make some more jewelry when I get done posting a couple more bracelets. I was busy last night lol

I'm new to Listia, and this is my first comment on here. I had to write to tell you this because when I read your post, something you said really touched my heart- you said, "I BELIEVE I'll never sing again..." Most people do not even realize how very powerful our words are when coupled with FAITH!! You stated this by FAITH- granted, most of the time we think of faith only in the positive perspective, but statements of faith work even when it's involving something negative. God's word is chock full of scriptures telling us how our words have power etc...so I had to write to tell you- IF it's your heart's desire to sing again, start speaking faith into your situation that one day, by God's grace and mercy, YOU WILL SING AGAIN TO GOD'S GLORY!!

Ok, I'm stepping off my soap box now on that issue! :) I also wanted to say I love your jewelry, and you are very talented! I also am a self-taught jewelry artist, and I hope to list some items on Listia very soon. Btw, I think Angelica's Jewels is a very unique, memorable name.

You are absolutely right Sherie In fact, my ENT sent me to the only Layncologist in Michigan at U or M and he told me that he sees wonderful things in my future!!
He recommend a Speech Pathologist right there at the University, but it is a very long drive. So then my ENT referred me to another one right in my area,and I still haven't gone as I have been tested over and over trying to find out why I have been ill.

Things are calming down now, so I can do this, I am doing PT for another issue so, when that is done, it is time for my speech therapy and my Volunteering at the local Hospital. I was a Nurse before I became Disabled, so that would be so rewarding!

I will start speaking in Faith that I will get my beautiful voice back,and still do my auctions and my once-maybe twice-Volunteer work each week!

I am not a person with low self-esteem, and not trying to be self effacing, I am just Humble, as I cannot take full credit for my gifts.

What a wonderful exchange of comments and opinions! I am impressed. I, too, am a firm believer that God controls every aspect of our lives. But He can't control a specific area if we don't give to Him, willing to accept His will. Someone mentioned when God closes one door, He opens another. I've heard the additional comment, it can be miserable in the hallway. LOL. As everyone else I've had my serious health issues, but God is healing in a way only He can. I'm so happy about that.

Regarding submitting your story, which is awesome. Think of all the people who will read about God's work. What an awesome opportunity to share your testimony and even work in the "road to salvation" (how you got this relationship with God). I am assuming you are 'born again'.

BYW - seriously consider using Angelic Jewels. It's a lovely name. Do you have an Etsy store already? I have a very small one (GrammasTreasure.etsy.com). Fabric is my favorite craft but I enjoy a variety of crafts. If you have time I'd love to have you visit my store. It's nothing great, but it's mine....

Thank you!! Yes, I have been a Christian all of my life, although I-like everyone else, am so far from perfect! I do give Him credit for my gifts, as I cannot believe sometimes what I can do. My Mom and I were scrapbooking for years before I got into beads, and the same thing happened.

I had a bracelet I sold break, and I could not fix it, so I made a regular bracelet (with the Hello Kitty face)-something I had NEVER done before, and it came out just beautiful!! So I know that this truly is a gift from God. I mean I have been wanting to begin the regular type of jewelry making, but I had never done it. It just seemed to be second nature.

Thank you for the lovely compliments, and yes, I love the name Angelic Jewels-I must have chosen that screename way back when for a reason, also. I never did know why I chose it.

As for submitting my story, I am leery of the "attention" it would bring. I like to stay in the background-sorta-and it would put me right out there. Now I know you are all thinking-"but this isn't ABOUT you, Jewels."-but it is, in a way.

I will seriously consider it, and I agree with the "store" name for my jewelry and thank you very, very much to all of you who have commented, brought me God's unconditional love and lot's and lot's of encouragement! And someone must be praying for me, as I have felt really at peace the last couple of days! Thank you to whomever it is (Plural)

I love this set!!! This would be a great gift. I am gonna remember the "Angelic jewels" you create and will be watching!! Just beautiful. So sorry about your voice. God gave me an ear for music, married a musical husband and God gave us 4 children that have perfect pitch. With a large family, every time we traveled short trips or long we sang harmony. We had the most fun TRYING to sing off key!!!

How long does the bracelet measure?

It measures 8", but I have tons of bracelets in Sterling Silver (I think, I'll have to double check) silver, Blacker Leather with Toggle closures with Flowers and fancy pins to close; I have cuffs, and the regular snake chain bracelets in all sizes Pis I have numerous different colored Leather in varied sizes. My point? I can change the size of any bracelet to fit the wearer. If it come to being very small, it may lose some of the detail just to make it fit.
