I pulled it out one of my old machines and it was working fine. I has been on my work bench in the way. Went on to bigger better machines.

So I am trying to buy a graphics card for my boyfriends son. He plays WOW and currently has a beginners custom build PC. I don't know much about computer internals, but I'm slowly learning now that he is asking me and his dad what to do with ... and how to fix that....type questions. We are now to the point where we are wanting to upgrade the graphics card, I've done a little research,, but thought I'd just ask your opinion and suggestions;/recommendations. He currently has a Nvidia GeForce 430 card....is the one for sale better or worse than the one he already has and what difference would it make if I put one like yours in instead of the one he has? (as far as he's concerned, and he's even more computer illiterate than i am lol.) Thanks in advance for any info you can give me to help me on my quest! :)

It's probably cutting my own throat but many things including the refresh rate is faster on the one you have.
