Lovely vintage brooch or pendant, quite large - measuring 2 1/4 inches top to bottom. I believe the brooch is porcelain or glass of some type, quite heavy for a brooch and just in pristine vintage condition. There are no breaks or cracks in the face of the brooch and no damage to the frame. The clasp fastens securely albeit a little loose. I will try to tighten it up for you. I can't really tell if this is a transfer or was painted on the face of the brooch, either way it is quite a lovely pin. A great addition to your vintage jewelry collection! It's definitely more red than orange, but there is a hint of orange and maybe a little yellow, too, in the lighter areas. Sheesh....that was a hard question! (lol). The overall color is a little deeper than pictured on my monitor, but it is definitely more red than orange.
