10KT Gold - 18" Rope necklace & 7" Rope bracelet.

This was a gift that I never worn because I'm just not into yellow gold, I prefer white gold. They are both in excellent condition!

I've kept it packed away in my close for a couple of years so the original Freidman's Jewelers box is slightly discolored.

I think we have a semantics problem within this thread. People do not use the words "solid gold" when you are really asking if the item is "real gold". Sweetie, this necklace and bracelet are not gold plated. They are "real or solid gold" but they are only 10K gold. 10K gold is considered "real gold" but it is made by mixing pure gold which is 24K but too soft to make jewelry out of with other metals to create 10K, 14K and18K gold. Most jewelers use 10K or 14K (most popular). Some very high end pieces are 18K.

Now I hope this put the sold gold question to bed, and no I will not be taking these items to a jeweler to have them checked. If they were not real gold they would be green by now as long as I have had these!

No, these items are not gold plated or gold filled necklace. It stamped 10K.

I am glad you asked this question! For "free shipping" auctions, I ship the next business day after I get my customers name and address. If it is an auction where my customer pays the shipping fee, I will ship right after I get the shipping payment, name and address. So please, whomever wins, send you name and address as fast as you can! Always email sellers through Listia's email system, never email from your personal mail box. Listia will use the email replies to settle any disputes so both parties need to protect themselves.

Again, I do not take weeks to ship my customers stuff, and for all you sellers that do...don't get mad at me for being so proficient...I'm a new seller and I want your customers so step up your game! All my items will also have a delivery confirmation number and i only ship First Class mail or Priority Mail so delivery is within a couple of days provided the PO don't goof up. None of my customers will ever tell you they waited a long time for me to receive their items!
