You are bidding on an auction for a modified PlayStation One controller.

This PlayStation One controller has an Ethernet cable extending from the top. I contacted Sony about this controller, but they had no information on it.

Model number on the back is SCPH-1080.

it appears to be a controller that was used in hotels, the end plug was changed so that no one would want to steal it because it wouldn't work on anyones home console.

Maybe! I've never seen controllers like these in hotels, but who's to say that it isn't. In any case, I know people who like to mod consoles and such would find this interesting to salvage, at least.
