Description

The listing, Poison Ivy Soap Be Ready For Spring has ended.

Jewelweed has been a staple in many Native American homes for many years. Spring is around the corner. Be ready for poison ivy season. My friend and I are foragers and we gather this plant every fall and sell to some major soap makers. We make soap for our own use and have used it for years. This soap is made from freshly harvested jewelweed and we make it extra strength, something that is not offered from other soapmakers that we know of. We make it strong as that is what we like because we use it ourselves. This soap has been used for a variety of skin problems from poison ivy, stinging nettle, poison oak, eczema, psoriasis, rashes of all kinds and even as relief from stinging critters. We make carry sized bars and keep one in our pocket when hiking, glove box of car, saddle bag of bike, fishing tackle box and one in a mason jar by our outside spigot to wash up with after gardening. Our soap has been used by fishermen, hunters, hikers, utility workers, gardeners, well, just about anyone that works or plays outside. We never hike without our soap. I weed my yard from poison ivy barehanded then wash with this soap. Have done this for many years. At first we made it for ourselves, then our friends started pilfering our supplies, then we recieved calls from strangers wanting our soap, even a boy scout troop got a big bag of it. This is from our batch made for this spring. This auction is for three bars.....get it while you can.

Yes, I have to charge for shipping. My soap costs to make and I use a lot of gas gathering this plant. If the bids go over three thousand I will add extra.

Sounds great! If I happen to win both the Jewelweed seeds and your soap, can you ship the seeds in with the soap to save shipping costs? W
