Hi there. Just wanted to let you know what your "thing" is. lol. It goes in the top of a pop bottle filled with water, and you sprinkle your starched laundry items with it, to "moisten" them for ironing. They're called bottle sprinklers. I wore a few of them out as a youngster. The cork looks to still be in decent condition. Nice item. Gl with your auction.

this makes memeories of my dad coming back to me. My mother died when I was young and my dad raised 7 kids and he used one of these when we were growing up I have to have this for the memeries f&w and bidding

Me again. Other uses we found for them; Excellent for using that left over Easter egg dye to give the dogs a new look; washing plants, dyeing fabric or splatter art, and of course, waking people up.
