These are two of the half-dozen vintage postcards I brought back from a college class trip to Washington, DC. They are unused and linen texture. The scan did not catch the full bridge postcard, but it is all there!! Only minor corner wear and aging.

Text of the front of first card reads: 195 - Thomas Jefferson Memorial, Washington, DC 1B-H654

As member of Congress he originated our system of coinage. Was Secretary of State in Washington's first term, Vice-President with John Adams, and President 1801-09. Founder of the first Republican Parkty, from which the Democrative Party of today claims descent.
