The listing, Malaysia Bank Negara One Ringgit has ended.
This is the last one of this denomination that I have - and it's yours if you are the high bidder! Banknote is circulated, with crinkling and wrinkling from use. It is actual note pictured here, so look closely.
Bank Negara, Malaysia, is the Central Bank for issue of all Malaysian currency notes, and coins. In June 1967, the Malaysian ringgit/sen, issued by the Bank replaced the existing currency in all its denominations.
On the front is a portrait of Tuanku Abdul Rahman (1903-1990), this country’s first prime minister and foreign minister after it gained its independence, continuing in that post when the federation of Malaysia was formed in 1963.
The back depicts Malasian tourism, Mount Kinabalu, Mount Mulu, and a Wau Bulan kite. This is a paper note , not a polymer one.
