The listing, Second Pair of Early Washington, DC linen postcards, vintage and unused has ended.
These are two of the half-dozen vintage linenpostcards I brought back from a college class trip to Washington, DC. They are unused and linen texture. Only minor corner wear and aging on the first card. Same for the second card except for z dark upper left corner on the back that does not appear to go through to the front.
Text of the front of first card reads: 99- View from Dome of Library of Congress, Looking West Toward Capitol, Washington, DC. 2C-H648.
Back of card text: This view from dome of Library of Congress shows the Capitol in the foreground with the Washington Monument at the far end of the Mall. On the right in the Mall is the National Gallery of Art and the Natural History Building of the National Museum, the Smithsonian Institution Building, and the Freer Art Gallery. In the far distance are the hills of Virginia and Arlington. Scenic art series B.S. Reynolds Co., Washington DC. Genuine Curteich-Chicago "C.T. Colortone" post card.
