Alright.... Very tempted... How would you install the processor? What would it do for the laptop?

I'd personally take it to best buy and have the geek squad do it for $5. It would only take 2 minutes. If you insist on doing it yourself it's plug and play, literally just slide it in and download the drivers from the website if your computer doesn't already have them. I can e-mail you step by step instructions if you win the auction but I don't have Internet tonight, I could type it up at work and ship it in an envelope with the package or e-mail it to you. Very easy to do. What model laptop?

That is almost exactly the same computer I just used it in. I just unscrewed the middle-ish 2 screws on the bottom and slid them in and it read it. Obviously take the battery out first. As for the processor, I don't know how to put that in, it's really just an added bonus with the ram but at least I can tell you that I know for a fact if you are working with any satellite model with XP or higher you are golden. The processor is actually never used because I didn't bother to figure it out. I'll send you a picture of my laptop if you wanna make sure I'm not making this up. The satellite models always have 2 slots on the bottom so it would be perfect. If it was a dell or a compaq or even a Sony I'd only be guessing but HP and Toshiba are what this ram and processor was built for. If you don't use the processor, re-list it on listia and make your credits back. I was gonna do two separate auctions but It took me all night to list looking into specifications. You can always install a dual processor system but that's over my head.
