I thought most collectors weren't too fond of the Sound Attack weapons.

Ya they are bulky and I do not have any thing to put them in to get the sound lol . However being a collector got to have it ;p

It's funny--for a while (I believe it was 2006), the 2003 Battle Blitz with Grunt was shelfwarming at Rite-Aid.

These are all for the 3 3/4" Joe figures:
-The shotgun is 2.5" long
-The Leatherneck is 2.7" long
-The Spearheads are about 2.9" long
-The Low-Light uzi is about 1.25" long
-The Sci-Fi blaster is about 2" long
-The SAW-Viper guns are about 3.6" long

These things were designed for vehicles from 2003-04, where there was a small slot for the tab to be fit into. Once done, you press a button and it makes a certain sound. To an extent, the Crimson Hydra jet from ROC has this, since it's a repaint of the 2003 Sky Sweeper. But yes, they can be held in figure hands.

I dropped out of GIJOE in 1994-2011 . I use to see them in stores and had no interested them . Now I see them and I am all up in the aisle .

I mentioned the Battle Blitz thing because that was my first sound-attack vehicle, and to be honest, the gimmick is kind of lame.
