The package has been opened, but only to add a 2gb memory card, which I'll include. This takes video AND still photos! 4X Digital Zoom with a 2" LCD screen. This is a 'Plug & Play'. The USB plug is inside the camcorder.
I got this for my 15 year old Granddaughter for Christmas saying to her, "You'll have LOTS of fun with your friends with what I got you for Christmas"! I was really excited about it! Well, she acted excited, too, when she opened it. She took it out of the package and looked it over, put it back in the package and later put it in my desk, never to be touched again. So much for me knowing what a 15 yo girl thinks is exciting! Right? Well, my stupidity is your gain!
It IS Brand new! I think I took really good photos of all of it's features. If you have any questions, I'll just pick up the box and see if your answers are there :) It is in it's original package. All I did was cut the back open and I'll tape that part closed before I ship it to the lucky winner!
