This is a picture of an identical card but this IS NOT th card for auction. I have pics of the real card. If you need to see the actual pictures I can email them to you/.
The bond bread cards had rounded edges so the would fit into the bread bags...this set was actually printed in the early 50's and used alot of old photos...i believe it was a set of 24 cards to this set called sports stars..included boxing, baseball, football etc....there was a big uproar even with the grading companies labeling these as bond bread cards!!! Still a very very nice card!!! I will be bidding!!
I've been over this four or five times. I postyed the wrong .jpg at first. The actual card I have is the second and third picture on the posting. The card is in a plastic sleeve inside a vinyl holder. The card back is blank. There is a LOOSE certification strip from CAPITOL GRADING. It says 1947 BOND BREAD - Ralph Kiner and has a designation of 10 Gem Mint. I obtained the card from Tony Galovich, one of the most respected collector of sports memorabilia in the country. That's what it is. Bid or don't bid. If the person with the high bid doesn't want to honor the bid, I have no problem with that. I'll just keep the card. In fact, I regret having even posting it.

Oh, I see now. That last pic is the back, with the cert tag sitting on it; I couldn't tell what it was sitting on, I did not realize that was the card back.
